BACKGROUND

I am used to explaining tough technical concepts in simple terms for audiences ranging from Ph.Ds to VCs. This experience helps in writing clear patent applications that get granted. My experience includes

My undergraduate degree is in Physics and Biology from UCSB, and my Ph.D. is in Molecular Biology (Biophysics emphasis) from UCSD. I did postdoctoral work in Immunology (monoclonal antibodies) at the National Institutes of Health, and later was an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology at Baylor College of Medicine.
